Amaya Estrada, born in Northern Virginia, lives and works in South Florida. She received her BA from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Her work acts as a vessel of exploration into cultural identity and duality through the scope of sculpture, painting, and print media. Unearthing the tension between environmental art and handmade processes, the work speaks to a personal and environmental displacement where the two are intricately associated.

Selected exhibitions include Dimensions of Identity: Marden Exhibition at the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, FL, Annual Summer Group Exhibition at Mountain Space Gallery in Lake Worth Beach, FL.

Black Creativity at the Boynton Beach Art & Cultural Center, and Amaya Estrada: Apathy at Grandview Public Market in West Palm Beach, FL.
