Annalise Wellman is a poet, scientist, and visual artist whose work explores the living intelligence of plants and the subtle ecologies that connect humans to the natural world. Currently completing her MSc in Plant Breeding at Wageningen University in the Netherlands, she bridges scientific inquiry with lyrical expression, creating a dialogue between data and spirit, root and word. Across her writing and visual work, Wellman seeks to restore reverence to the natural world:to speak of plants not as objects of study, but as beings of story.
