Aphrodite Lutz

Aphrodite (Didi) Lutz is a third generation Palm Beacher. Granddaughter of the Karatinos family who settled in in the area in 1940s and owned the Evernia Hotel (then Hotel Keswick) in West Palm Beach for three decades before settling in Palm Beach in 1960.

Born in 1978 at Good Samaritan Hospital in WPB, Aphrodite grew up in Athens, Greece, and spent nearly every summer in Palm Beach visiting her grandmother, who was also a local artist. She moved to New York for college and then to Boston for graduate school earning degrees in Business and Public Relations. She has helped run several businesses, including her own public relations consulting for many years before working with her husband in their CPA tax practice as VP of Marketing.

Entirely self-taught, constantly evolving and pushing herself and the artwork, Aphrodite discovered her talent in painting and drawing later in life and is quickly becoming a prolific local South Florida artist. Her signature three white dots showcase the innovation of her original works of art.

Her most recent works were shown at the Palm Beach Show 2024 (Represented by Steidel Contemporary).
