Ashley Osorio is a South Florida-based musician, musicologist, and arts researcher whose work centers on performance, historical scholarship, and the recovery of overlooked musical voices. A 2026 Artist Innovation Fellow through the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County, she is currently leading the revival and critical edition of Comala, a rarely performed opera by composer Harriet Wainewright Stewart. Her work combines archival research with modern performance and recording projects to bring historically neglected repertoire back into public awareness.
Ashley holds a Master of Studies with Distinction in Musicology from the University of Oxford. In addition to her scholarly work, she has worked as a collaborative musician, music director, and educator, with experience spanning choral music, opera, musical theatre, sacred music, and new creative projects. Her artistic practice is rooted in the belief that music can serve as both historical preservation and living, accessible storytelling for modern audiences.
