I am an award-winning artist art director, artist and author. I am very fortunate to have had a great career in art.

My professional achievements includes directing high profile consumer magazines, such as the Boston Herald Sunday Magazine, South Florida Magazine, Blockbuster Magazine, and Ocean Drive Magazine. Before that, I served as an illustrator and designer for several newspapers, including the Quincy, (Mass.) Patriot Ledger, the Palm Beach Post and the Miami Herald. In 1991 I started a design business, BoseArts, and in 1996 I launched my own online magazine, Absolutely Florida, and a video travel site called Florida.TV. I published both for ten years. In 2003, I edited and co-produced a documentary about industrial food production called The Real Food Revolution.

I have won several awards in art direction, illustration, graphic design, stage design, electronic graphics and most recently for my illustrated novel, Tree of Lives, written under the pen name of Elizabeth Garden. Tree of Lives is an illustrated autobiographical novel about emotional trauma, familial conflict and atonement and is the recipient of a gold medal from the Florida Author’s and Publisher’s President Awards and a recent finalist in American BookFest’s International Book Awards.

I studied painting and printmaking at the Boston Museum School and Silvermine Academy.
