Chadd Lacy received his BFA from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. In 2005 he started working as adjunct faculty and technician at Cleveland Institute of Art. His approach to glass making has spanned much of what the craft has to offer. Making use of flame worked, cast, and furnace worked elements, his subtle narratives are beautiful and sometimes peculiar arrangements, touching on nature and sometimes the human experience. Most recently Chadd started serving as Director of Operations for Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts, a non profit glass fabrication center in Lake Worth Beach. In addition to his work for Benzaiten, he continues his glass making practice, and his artworks can be found in museums, galleries, and collections worldwide
