I grew up in Florida, twenty minutes from the beach and have had the pleasure of exploring many of our state’s natural wildlife through surfing, kayaking, climbing Banyan trees, camping in Florida springs, and hang gliding at the peak of sunrise. My appreciation for coastal landscapes, vibrant sky scapes, and tropical wildlife can be seen in all of my artwork.

My family is from Trinidad, where music and dance define the culture and played a huge role in my upbringing. The upbeat and happy music of my roots is reflected in my artistic style. Vibrant colors, bold lines, and high contrast create visual movement and high energy in my art.

Though I have developed skills in realism, 3D murals and chalk art, surrealism, graffiti, lettering, and landscapes, my initial interest in the arts came from cartoons and comic books. Classic storytelling archetypes from film animation, comics, and myths still influence the way I create my own visual narratives. I want to take people on a visual journey through a surreal world of my imagination. Where they are not only transported into a fictional story but they can also see themselves and their community in the images I create. Through Illustration I add humor and fantasy to my murals, in the hopes of making people stop smile and believe in the path they have chosen in life.
