Acrylic Painting.

I started my college years at Rochester Institute of Technology majoring in Graphic Design with a minor in Film Animation. I received an A.A.S. and had decided to pursue my B.A. in Interior And Architectural Design at Moore College of Art in Philadelphia. I practiced commercial design work for 15 years, then went on to buy a Bed and Breakfast Inn built in 1821 in Upstate NY. It was there that I fell in love with the decorative arts of period wall finishes, color and furnishings. I owned that property for close to ten years.

My interest in painting came about in 2012, at a time when my brother became terminally ill. It was an immersive and relaxing way for me to get through this period of time. Oil and Acrylic painting was my medium, and I belonged to some art associations in South NJ. I did some shows, and started selling and commissions of my work.

I moved to South Eastern Florida in 2020 where I practiced residential Interior Design until 2024. Semi retired at this point, I decided to self teach myself Watercolor painting, and discovered the art of Urban Sketching. My work as a sketch artist incorporated whimsical and fun characters depicting my view of everyday life. I love the use of various ink pen line weights and colorful splashes of watercolor. I enjoy bringing the viewer “in” to my work.

I continue to learn and grow in my creativity, and my motto is “never2late2create”
