After graduation from New York School of Interior Design in
1983, I worked as a designer (mostly residential) for over 30 years in New
Jersey, California and Colorado.

While living in California, I joined an art group known as
Artists of Ironwood in Palm Desert and began taking art classes. Every
year this group of approximately 65 members had an annual juried show at which
I would display and sell several of my watercolors (receiving many blue ribbons
over the years). I also served as chairman of the art show for two years
and president also for two years.

While enjoying winters in California, my husband and I
travelled to Pagosa Springs, Colorado for the summer. Entering my artwork
in their county fair each summer, I won a Best of Show award as well as several
blue ribbons over a six-year period.

After losing my husband in 2008, I eventually moved out of
California to Denver, Colorado in 2014 where I had some family. I joined
the Heritage Arts Guild of Denver; and in 2016 I entered one of their shows,
winning Best of Show for my oil abstract of “In the Beginning”.

Finally realizing that Denver wasn’t for me, I moved to
Florida in 2017. I had a short hiatus from painting before discovering
the Armory Art Center where I once again took up painting classes and have been
happily painting ever since!
