I am a self-taught mid-century artist whose work as a youth won local acclaim. Originally from New Jersey and business career including character licensing and design oversight at United Feature Syndicate / Scripps Media in New York City, Florida has been my home for 20 years.  I retired from a finance/banking career in Palm Beach recently and am now creating art and visual social media engagement full time.

My visual media focuses on creating positive energy and fun, using bright colors and focusing predominantly on animals. My style is my own, but growing up and haunting museums and downtown NYC, I have drawn inspiration from well loved, modern art and social culture masters including Peter Max, Keith Haring, Jackson Pollock, Romeo Britto and Charles M. Schulz, whose world-renowned Peanuts cartoon characters were part of my early licensing portfolio. These days, I enjoy painting dogs and have honed my craft by using my own dog, FERNANDO, as my primary subject. We dress up, we tell stories, we share wisdom, we share fun.

Together Fernando and I have 14,000 Instagram followers. I use this as a bully pulpit to share upbeat humor, wacky adventures, kindness, grace and positive energy worldwide. FOLKS LOVE US. We share joy and fun and hope and sparkle. My art brings joy and smiles. There is no greater gift than sharing joy.
