My name is Dorothee Kumpe and I create Deep Purpose Jewelry. I am a copper and resin artist that works predominantly with organic pieces, preserving them in resin or copper-forming them, securing the pieces as wearable art. In a process that can take 5-200 hours to complete, utilizing leaves, flowers, branches, insects, and shells, I seal these energies into your special piece, giving them a deeper purpose. Local and ethically sourced bodies for taxidermy and framed preserved pieces.

In 2023 I have expanded to create Heart’s Purpose Collection where portions of the proceeds go to the treatment of leukemia patients.

In November 2025, I placed 1st at the Armory Art+Craft+Design show for my copper and resin jewelry.
