  • She has performed at Arts Garage, Lynn University, Miami Book Fair, Syracuse University, and throughout Palm Beach County. Flose is proud to have shared her poem “March on, Sister” at the 2017 Women’s March, where there were over 5K in attendance. Malala Yousafzai read the poem, and it remains on her Assembly platform.
  • Informed through adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), Dr. James Pennebaker’s research, and eight years of facilitating writing workshops, Flose founded Write To Heal, LLC, an expressive writing meets creative writing workshop. She has led workshops for Mandel Public Library, NAMI PBC, X (formally Twitter), Vox Media, Palm Health Foundation, Rohi’s Readery, and others.

Flose teaches writing workshops in person and on Zoom, is available for spoken word poetry commissions, is an experienced public speaker open to opportunities (appeals to youth and women), and loves discussing how writing holds the potential for positive change!
