Hegina Rodrigues

My passion as a painter has been to paint the figure for the past 4 decades which has led me to go through many different figurative styles and yet remaining true to myself. At the moment, in order to challenge myself and to grow as an artist, I have embarked and became fascinated by painting the abstract and imaginary landscapes. I feel changes are inevitable in order to keep the energy flowing and the spirit alive and to continue my artistic and personal growth. Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil I had to rely on my vivid imagination in order to create art. I have been teaching art and inspiring children of all ages in our community for the past 2 decades and now diving fully into my painting passion in my studio in West Palm Beach. I am inspired by the everyday of life, by my many travels, by many masters, by people and life in general .
