I love working with alcohol inks. The colors are rich and bold and there are many different aspects to the art itself. Synthetic paper lends itself beautifully to the flow of the ink creating an almost ethereal effect. The paper can also be melted with a wood burning tool to create beautiful 3D art. Recently I’ve added alcohol inks to a varnished canvas creating yet another dimension.
