I document communities, searching for and examining the connections between people and their surroundings. My intention is to reveal the poetry of the ordinary.

Consciously or not, my work is informed by personal experience, education, cultural background and prejudice. For me, the interesting aspect of a photograph, besides emotion, composition and moment in time is the underlying subjective meaning.
