When I produce my art, I want the viewer to share in my love of
nature. This includes animals, seascapes, flowers, and landscapes. I
use many mediums including, colored pencils, pastels, watercolor, pen, and
acrylics. My favorite though is watercolor. It is perfect for
tropical paintings in my mind. The transparency that works well with
light and layering is appealing to me. I love vibrant colors that convey
a sense of freshness and excitement, especially when doing my coastal type
drawings and paintings.

I am a self taught artist although I have taken many workshops in
painting. I worked for many years as a Pharmaceutical Representative in a
Fortune 500 company and wore suits on a daily basis. Working for a large
corporation does not allow for a lot of creativity.

I was chosen as an emerging artist for Artigras 2019 Fine Arts
Fair. One of my paintings was featured in the program for the show. It
was a wonderful experience that I was very grateful for the experience.

Now I enjoy the creative, somewhat bohemian life of an artist
which I find very liberating. I live in South Florida and when I am not
creating art, I like to go down to our dock and hop in my kayak and go. The
beauty of nature along the canals and mangroves feeds my soul and give me a
sense of peace and joy.
