JB Berkow has been professionally creating and selling art for over 30 years. Her artwork is in many prestigious collections such as the Vatican Contemporary Art Collection in Italy, Boston University, and the West Palm Beach International Airport as well as many private collections all over the country. She has had many one-person shows in galleries throughout the country and has literally sold thousands of prints of what she is most well-known for, her hyper-realistic scenes of Europe. Recently she has returned to her original love of figurative artwork. Her new sculptures will be cast in glass and embellished with flameworked items and some painting in order to make each piece a one-of-a-kind creation.
JB is also the Founder and President of the Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts, which is a 14,000sf 3-D, fine art glass fabrication center located in the heart of Lake Worth Beach. It boasts a 5,000sf glass blowing hot shop, the largest in the state open to the public, a 1,500sf flameworking and fusing studio, a new glass casting department and a 2,000sf fine art gallery and gift shop. She has published three books: Shades of Love, Painted Poetry and What They Didn’t Teach You In Art School, the latter geared towards helping artists take their career to the next level.
JB’s work is on display at several venues; call her to set up an appointment.
