I was born with a crayon in my hand and ballet shoes on my feet. Art and dance have been the passions of my life, and I believe my art expresses my search for beauty and movement. My art seeks to be uplifting, fun and dynamic. Variety is the spice of life, and for me, many art mediums interest me including sculpture, painting, drawing and digital art. I adore sculpting and drawing the human face and nude figure, as the essential nature of each human figure is a mystery to be unfolded through the process of depiction. Trained in classical figurative art, I also appreciate abstraction as a meditation on the fundamentals of good picture-making…balance, composition, light, line, color and space.

I want to make art that people love to live with. Largely self-taught, I have been studying art my entire life. With a formal education in architecture and business, and a lifetime of global travel and adventures, my mission now is to indulge my later years in my two great passions….creating art and dancing ‘til I drop.
