John Bowen

I’ve been a Commercial Artist/Illustrator for over 45 years, including 8 years in the United States Air Force, as as Illustrator. During which time I spent one year in Vietnam as an artist/illustrator. After separating from the Service, l moved to South Florida where l spent the next 38 years working in the Newspaper Advertising Art Business. Upon my retirement I concentrated on watercolor painting, outdoor art shows and finishing my book, “Eleven Months and Nineteen Days”. An award winning, illustrated book, about my tour in Vietnam. Since my retirement l’ve been involved with exhibitions around the country. I’ve received numerous awards for my paintings. I’m also a signature member of both the Gold Coast and Florida Watercolor Societies. I am available for commissions, including “Home Portraits” and “Boat Portraits”. Let’s get together and discuss it.
