Juerga Flamenca

We would like the opportunity
to invite you to immerse yourself into our “Juerga Flamenca”
Experience.

Juerga Flamenca is a Flamenco ensemble consisting of dancers
Marilia Quevedo, Paloma Eden, and Guitarist, Singer, and Composer Cristian
Puig.

Their performances combine the intensity, passion,
and sensuality of authentic live flamenco art. Where sounds of the Spanish
guitar and dance accompany the haunting lyrics of the singer interpreting
traditional and modern flamenco styles.

Having performed in various tablaos and theatres nationally and
internationally, this exhilarating show that we offer will be sure to leave
the crowd clapping to the beat and desiring more.

Dancer, teacher, and choreographer Marilia Quevedo is available for
flamenco classes of all levels from beginner to professional, and currently
teaches in West Palm Beach. She has a passion for sharing knowledge, and technique of the extremely rich art that combines the mastery of footwork, arm-work, and
turns, while always honoring the deep roots of Andalusian culture.

The classes focus on the study of the compas (various Flamenco
rhythms), palmas (clapping) as an instrument of percussion as well as
accompaniment, the structure of various Flamenco dances, and improvisation of Rumba
Flamenco in a festive atmosphere.

All classes are accompanied by live music by our guitarist and
singer Cristian Puig for a complete experience of what it is like to dance in a
real tablao.

begins where the limits end.”
