Laura Jaffe

I so enjoy the freedom of abstract art. My inspiration comes from dreams, meditation, and the mood of the moment. Such joy comes from putting brush to canvas, or using other mediums to make marks. Sometimes I collage after printing interesting papers with the gelli plate. Whether I’m using palette knives, brushes, or other medium, I am guided by emotion.

I have a love affair with color, from very bold to somewhat more quiet! What better way to express mood than through the various colors we artists choose! Color can be a window into the soul.

I do accept commissions. The majority of my work can be seen and purchased via LauraJaffeArt.com. I’d love to hear your comments about my work!
