Lisa Pearlman is a fine art photographer based in West Palm Beach, Florida. Her first career was specializing in headshots and portraits while living In NYC and raising a family. After several years, Lisa redirected her lens to a new world: flowers. While she truly loved studying the exquisite nuances of the human face, she found an inexplicable allure in the natural elegance of a flower that keeps her in a perpetual state of inspiration. Today, she calls herself a “flower portraitist.”

In her work, she minimizes all distractions so that the flower can be fully appreciated. With each portrait, Lisa strives to convey that moment of all she first experiences, one in the presence of a flower. ” My greatest hope is that the viewer will be overtaken by wonder for just a moment when looking at my work. If my effort to illuminate these jewels of nature leads some to a greater appreciation of nature or flowers, I think I will have done some good as an artist.”
