I began to paint and make
jewelry when I was at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pa. There I discovered
art and thrived in the exciting experience of being creative.

After I graduated, I became a single mom and it
was essential to support myself and my two young daughters. Fortunately, I was
able to connect with many private collectors, and representatives who sold my
paintings and jewelry to stores all over the country.

My work was in most of the major
Department Stores such as Saks, Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales. I was featured
in many magazines, catalogues, and was a guest on many tv shows, such as Cathy
and Regis, the Mike Douglas Show and a special tv program called Winners, to
name just a few. I was asked to lecture and give programs to many groups about
my work and career and I had a column in a local Ohio newspaper which led to a
book I wrote that was published : How to Make and Sell Your Arts and Crafts.

I am very involved with conservation and our environment. My paintings are largely of nature. I have 7 compost piles in my organic garden and grow flowers and food organically.

I love working and being creative.
I feel blessed.
