My goal as an artist is to convey the possible, to move the viewer away from the present and offer an altered vision.

Transforming the recognizable into the imaginary offers the observer a chance to be transported from the “concrete” world into a semi-abstract, imagined environment.

“The Whole and Some of its Parts”

Architectural photography is reborn in this traditional and three- dimensional adaptive twist on shape and form. “The Whole” is a before-and-after experience affording the viewer a direct channel from the everyday to the sublime.

A Traveler’s Impressions: Experiencing the sights and sounds, the rituals and customs, everyday occurrences and spontaneous events of our fellow humans leave a multitude of lasting impressions.

Shape and Shadow: Geometry and architecture are inexorably bound. Shapes, curves, angles and lines give rise to construction that marries beauty and purpose.

Metamorphosis: Architectural photography is reborn in this three-dimensional adaptive twist on traditional shape and form. Starting as a photograph, in image is transformed into a multi-layered structure of photographic paper, metal enhancements and art studio materials.

I believe the artist is the counterpart to the subject: When both are in sync, the art reveals itself.
