Michelle A M Miller is an interdisciplinary artist and writer whose work exists at the intersection of form, feeling, and the layered terrain of transformation. Her practice is shaped by mark-making and memory, where image and language meet at the edge of the ineffable. From this liminal space, she creates drawings, artist books, sculptural forms, and installations—each a tactile meditation on presence and impermanence.

Drawing from a visual vocabulary of geometric abstraction, organic forms, and layered texture, Michelle’s work traces the shimmer of invisible architectures—energy, light, sound, and time—across inner and outer landscapes. Evoking the ancient and the futuristic, the familiar and the uncanny, her imagery distills ephemeral experiences into evocative forms that invite personal and collective reflection.

She is the co-founder of Interval Paper, a creative publishing studio that offers tools and experiences for reflection, reconnection, and thoughtful transformation. A long-time mindfulness practitioner, Michelle completed the 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program over a decade ago, an experience that laid the foundation for her dedicated meditation practice. Her creative work is shaped by a contemplative presence and a deepening relationship with impermanence. As a trained End-of-Life Doula, she brings a conscious awareness of mortality, honoring legacy, meaning-making, and the mysterious threshold we all will cross.
