I am committed to storytelling as a way of inspiring new possibilities in education and in society. I believe storytelling is the way to build character and impart wisdom. Listeners learn from the inside out. Heart first, the head will follow. I believe storytelling can provide a path to understanding ourselves, our neighbors and our world. In this over stimulated and over exposed environment where media and technology are constantly demanding our awareness, the age-old art of storytelling is reborn to provide a respite for the mind, heart and soul of listeners and an opportunity to imagine new possibilities.

With over 20 experience working with adults, children and families I use stories to entertain, enrich and plant the seeds of literacy and love of language.

I tell timeless folk, fairy, and tall tales, literary, original, and personal stories to entertain, educate and enrich children and adults. My expertise lies with children ages 2 – 7 and families. My desire is for more adult audiences to embrace the art of storytelling.

Received Florida Storytelling Association’s Chuck Larkin Distinguished Service Award, 2016

Created and implemented popular specialized programs for young children –
Story&Play and Explore-A-Story,2008- present

Produced, hosted, and emceed scores of events for adults, and families 2007- 2018

Publishes South Florida Storytelling News 2005 – 2020

National Storytelling Network, staff member, 2010-2012
