Nora Solomon

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on May 23, 1951.

When I was almost 12 years old we moved to the USA to start a new life.

As a child I remember enjoying anything that had to do with arts and crafts.

Above all, I have always been intrigued by the art of stained glass.

When the Community Center where I lived back in the late 1980’s offered a class, I took it, and have been joyfully working with stained glass ever since.

Although sometimes I create the more traditional stained glass, I prefer to do whatever comes to my mind.

I like to incorporate old and new jewelry, stone, shells, beads, or whatever suits the piece that I am working on.

When I am in my work shop I am in another world, I get lost and start creating.
