Pamela Giarrtana

I always thought I was an artist. When people ask how long have you been painting I just say forever and leave out the years. Born and raised in Wakefield, MA, class of ’62WHS, I then attended Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. My Plein Air painting began in Pittsburgh, PA in the 70’s where I lived with my husband, John, and two children Deborah and Jack until they were both in college. We then moved back to Boston where I continued to paint outdoors occasionally while working full time managing an art store. I have taught painting to adults and learned much from that experience. We now live in Jupiter, FL and I am continuing my education by learning to paint palm trees and Caribbean blue water. I hope to always continue learning to paint through self challenges every day.
