Patricia Curtis

Patricia, is a native Floridian and draws from a rich foundation of autodidact study both domestically and internationally, thus blending diverse influences into a distinctive visual language that is both dynamic and deeply personal.

Working in oil and acrylic, she creates bold, expressive works that invite viewers into a world of color, texture, and imagination. She sees beauty in  things that may or may not be viewed as beautiful.  There is beauty in the wrinkles of a face, the contours of a body, in the color of skin, in our differences and our similarities.  Because of her view of the world, her paintings can be found in galleries domestic and international and are held in  both private and public collections.

For Patricia, painting is as much about discovery as it is about expression — each piece becoming part of a larger conversation between artist, viewer, and the spaces they share.
