Patricia (Pati) Maguire

I studied Art at Skidmore College, and later received an MBA from Florida Atlantic University. My passion is painting, both en Plein Air and in my studio in Delray Beach, Florida.

I was first inspired by Rembrandt (who isn’t?) when I saw one of his self portraits in my birthplace of Buenos Aires, Argentina. I spent my high school years in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and was dazzled by the colorful modern paintings and the landscape around me.

Although I consider my work impressionist in nature, I often experiment with styles. I feel my work reflects the many cultures that formed me as a person. I have been lucky to have my work recognized by national and international art organizations.
