My love to create began in the 1970s, sitting on the floor of my home at the Jersey Shore for hours when my babies slept, with a big square frame that worked as a loom, as I produced giant woven wall hangings and macrame, utilizing every type of yarn, beads, feathers, anything with color that nature had to offer. After moving to Florida in 1984, because I had an interest to attempt painting, I discovered a wonderful art teacher from France, and began classes with 4 other students. Even though it was held in a hot garage with only a single fan, I loved every moment of it, while producing fabulous artwork. Taking lessons throughout the years from different artists, opened-up a whole world for me, which brings me to today, where I converted a bedroom in my Boynton Beach home, to an art room that has a powerful feel of just positivity, spirituality, and creative energy. “My art room” is full of blank canvases, painted canvases, every type of tool, ripped-up paper, acrylic paint, inks, pastels, and the list goes on. There is barely room for the artist!
My artwork, through the years, was selected by judges to be displayed at the Coral Springs Museum of Art, The Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach International Airport, and many art galleries throughout Florida.
