Sam Nagel Eggert

Sam Nagel Eggert has 15 years of professional experience in illustration, painting, and graphic design. After graduating from Ringling College of Art and Design in 2009, Sam began her career in the art licensing trade, accumulating 10 years of professional experience designing for the home decor and gift markets. She has worked on designs for several large retail stores including T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods, Bed Bath & Beyond, The Hallmark Store and Lowes.

Sam considers herself a colorist. She is known for her use of vibrant, intense colors no matter the subject or medium. Growing up and living in South Florida, in a town surrounded by the ocean and intricate waterways has influenced her work. Always enveloped by a bright and tropical locale, Sam’s paintings often reflect a lush marine environment with a painting style that delivers a lively appeal.

Sam’s recent work includes murals for the home and business, public art projects, live festival and event painting, people and pet portrait commissions, book cover and poetry illustrations, as well as artwork for the home decor and surface design industries, including custom patterns for wallpaper and fabrics.

In her personal life, Sam is an avid 10A gardener, lucid dreamer, and glass blower in training. She assists her husband at their private glass blowing studio in Stuart, FL.
