Shani Simpson

Shani Simpson is a South Florida based multi-disciplinary visual artist that works
across multiple disciplines including, painting, photography, mixed media,
design, and textile design. She seeks to create images that are both unique and
beautiful. Inspired by her Christian faith, the Bible, nature, the arts, music,
cinema, fashion, and architecture, her works allow the viewer to feel and see deeply as
they view them.

Shani is an alumna of the University of Miami (GO CANES!), where she received her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Florida Atlantic University, where she received her Master’s in Non-Profit Management. She also attended Flinders University in Adelaide, SA, Australia as part of the Study Abroad Program at the University of Miami, where she completed her capstone coursework in Australian Studies.

In 2022, Shani participated in Florida Atlantic University’s Women’s Executive Leadership program where she received a certificate upon completion.

An avid traveler, she has visited Jamaica, Australia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines,
México, Guatemala, Canada, Israel, Barbados, the United Arab Emirates, the
Dominican Republic, Colombia, Bahamas, as well as various cities throughout the
United States. Imagery from these places has a great influence on the work she
produces.
