HEY THERE, I’M SOHAN,
(That’s SO-Han. Like Han Solo if you flip it backwards and drop the Lo. Or if you’re Southern, “So Hun” will work.)

I’m an artist, calligrapher, and surface pattern designer (among other things) and I enjoy working on commissions with wonderful folks who love hand lettering, watercolor and oil paintings and interesting patterns. And just so you have a little backstory, as a kid I would stare at wallpaper or a single letter for days trying to figure out how they got that design to repeat so nicely or wondering how that letter M could look better because it just wasn’t pretty enough.

I’ve held a pencil for as long as I can remember and love painting as well. Having spent years in a florist shop with my parents, I have a love of floral watercolor paintings and enjoy sharing the beauty of flowers. My calligraphy practice has spanned the last decade and I also offer bookbinding alongside my other disciplines.

Speaking of college, I went to the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University to get a BFA in Fine Arts and have worked as a designer and artist since and really even before then.

I’m excited about calligraphy, watercolor, and pattern design. I live in South Florida with my fantastic husband and delightful kids. My clients come from all over the world, places like United States, Canada, Australia, Finland, India and elsewhere for custom commissions. I like to create beautiful pieces for clients, whether it’s calligraphy, a custom invitation, a surface pattern design, or a spiritual piece of art. Let me know what I can create for you!
