Suzanne Ankrum-Harris

Suzanne is a theatre artist and works as an actor, director, devised theatre maker, and educator.  She has performed in South Florida at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, Palm Beach Dramaworks, Island City Stage, and Gable Stage.  She devises physically-focused theatre with the Sea Change Collective and has directed both professionally and in the educational setting.  Suzanne has various courses, workshops at Lynn University,  The Hartt School, Housatonic Community College, SUNY – Albany,  North Broward Preparatory School, Momentum Stage, Hartford Stage, The Maltz Conservatory, and as core faculty member at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts.  In 2024 Suzanne was selected as one 10 Artist Innovation Fellowship recipients given by the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County.   A proud member of Actors Equity Association, Suzanne earned her MFA in Acting from the University of Tennessee and has continued to pursue her craft studying various modalities such as Suzuki, Grotowski, Corporal Mime, Viewpoints, Lecoq-based training, Fitzmaurice technique, and more!  As an educator Suzanne teaches workshops, courses, and private clients in the South FL theatre community
