Sylvia Arbelaez

Sylvia Arbelaez is a South Florida–based photographer and creative director whose work explores the intersection of artistry, precision, and human connection. Through her studio, Photography by Sylvia, she captures timeless narratives across weddings, portraits, and commercial commissions. Her portfolio includes collaborations with clients such as Nordstrom Rack’s HauteLook, TYCO International, Dillard’s, and Parklander Life Publications.

Her photographs have appeared on the covers of Incisal Edge and Life and the Single Parent® magazines, and in juried exhibitions and charitable showcases for organizations including 4Kids of South Florida and Flashes of Hope.

Arbelaez holds a B.A. from Barry University and an A.A. in Liberal Arts from Palomar College.
