My journey
as an artist started at a young age when I painted the walls with my mother’s
lipstick. However, it was after my retirement from the corporate world that I
realized I wanted to pursue painting full-time.

I am a self-taught artist who learned the
basics of watercolor through a couple of art classes in Puerto Rico and New
York City. However, my authentic classrooms were the art galleries in Soho in
the 1980s, conversations with Keith Haring, Leo Castelli, and Juan Basquiat,
and my travels to the islands in the Caribbean, Spain, Italy, and France.

I believe
that being an artist is a “calling” from within, and it’s not
necessarily something that can be learned in school. I have learned from
practical experience, trial, and error, and studying the works of the Fauves
and Post-Impressionists. For the past five years, I have been painting and
exhibiting my works in Dumbo (New York City), San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Palm
Beach County. Each stroke in my paintings is significant, and I love to paint
with my dog, Enzo, by my side. I am excited to connect with you and share more
about my passion for art.

Thank you
for taking the time to read my message, and I look forward to hearing from you
soon.
