Photography for me is about emotion. The emotion can come from the subject matter, the experience of a moment or the light. It’s all very personal and I strive not to overstep my boundaries or alter the moment. By putting down the camera and simply ‘being’ in the surroundings I strive to gain a visual that goes beyond the obvious. The ultimate goal is to share in what I create. To that end I’ve been fortunate to have publishers and collectors of my work. Their support is what makes it possible to continue on a path that leads me to gain knowledge and respect for humanity and our planet.These ten images showcase my infatuation with the ocean, the mesmerizing waves it generates and its ever changing moods.
