Valerie Noell is a multidisciplinary artist, photographer, and creative director whose work explores the relationship between landscape, memory, and abstraction. Rooted in observation and shaped by time spent outdoors, her practice considers how environment and emotion inform one another.

Her work begins in nature. Through years of travel and field study across the American West, she developed a photographic approach grounded in light, terrain, and atmosphere. This foundation informs both her photography and painting, where compositions draw from collected fragments—horizon lines, water, and geological forms—translated into more intuitive, abstract expressions.

Working across photography, painting, and spatial design, Valerie approaches image-making as a form of translation between what is seen, felt, and remembered. Alongside her personal work, she has over fifteen years of experience as a commercial photographer and creative director, collaborating with brands in lifestyle, interiors, food, and wellness.

She is the founder of Terracotta House, an artist-led initiative and living gallery space in South Florida. Her work has been featured in Parklands (Gestalten), Vogue Japan, Local Wolves, and Coyote & Oak, and will be included in the upcoming exhibition Across This Land: America at 250 at the Coral Springs Museum of Art.
