Join us for a musical journey through the heart of Italy as the Symphonic Band of the Palm Beaches proudly presents its opening concerts of the 66th season, featuring a vibrant mix of beloved folk songs, iconic film scores, and grand opera. These performances promise an unforgettable afternoon or evening of music that you will instantly recognize—even if you don’t know the titles by heart.

Musical selections include “Moment for Morricone,” with the haunting, unforgettable theme The Good, the Bad and the Ugly from Eastwood’s spaghetti westerns, “8 ½ ~ La Passerella Di Addio,” Rota’s whimsical, circus-like march from the Fellini film 8½, “Un  Viaggio Italiano” with the Italian favorite “Funiculì, Funiculà” and the music from which Sherman wrote the brilliant novelty lyrics, “Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh.”
