Under the banner of the Elevar Foundation, the Josef Gingold Chamber Music Festival (JGCMF) embodies violinist Josef Gingold’s passionate commitment to music and humanity. Authentic performance ideologies are inspired by the art of Josef Gingold, one of the primary exponents of the Golden Age of music and violin playing.

The summer of 2024 brought a fresh set of concerts set in Boca Raton and nearby communities, as JGCMF moved its base north of Miami. Playing to eight sold out audiences, the festival brought new energy to summertime cultural activities in the region. Its musicians performed at Alzheimer’s Community Care centers and Lighthouse for the Blind of the Palm Beaches as well as several in senior centers and libraries for free.

JGCMF offers a range of chamber ensemble performances that includes piano trios, string quartets and quintets performing a wide array of concert repertoire at acclaimed venues.  A recent international roster of past guest artists includes Elmar Oliveira, Emanuel Ax, Julian Rachlin, Julian Schwarz, Gil Shaham, Gary Hoffman, Wendy Chen, Roberto Diaz, Leonard Slatkin, Gerard Schwarz and Nicola Benedetti, among others. In addition to the Artistic and Music Director, Andrés Cárdenes, the Festival’s 2026 guest artists include Julia Jones, Jack Kessler, Michael Klotz, Robert Koenig, Sheng-Yuan Kuan, Gary Levinson, Erica Lynn, Sara Sant’Ambrogio, and Ann Martindale Williams. ... view more »
