Historical Society of Lake Worth

The Historical Society of Lake Worth is a non-profit formed in 2016. Our Mission
is to research, collect, preserve and share the history of Lake Worth and the
earlier community of Jewell. The Society welcomes inquiries for information about
history in our area.

We accomplish our Mission through the following:
1. Monthly educational programs free to the public October through March
2. Collecting and publishing historical information on our website
3. Publishing books on local history topics of interest
4. Engage in community building by creating memorials at historic sites and
erecting markers for local history events
